I hope everyone is having a great start to their week! In today's post, I would like to let our Lifetime family know a little bit more about the Ultimate Hoops league that they offer to the public. Now to be clear from the start, you do not have to be a member to play in this league because of the buy-in. Ultimate Hoops is basically a professional, recreational league for adults who want to continue to play, but can't at a high level or just do it for the love of the game. In an article from Overtime, they said it is "the best rec league in the world."

After registration, you get assigned to a team and then you get to meet your teammates at game 1. Some locations have leagues, some don't. It is usually a $90 buy in and then you play for about 10 weeks, one game a week. Ultimate Hoops does a great job with this because they create player profiles, take pictures, take stats, etc. Ultimate Hoops also offers training to people of all ages who are trying to improve their game. Some of the best basketball trainers get this job and are training people all day. Overall, it is a great experience for people who want to continue playing the game who could not play after college. Most of the players are young adults to working adults so the leagues can get pretty competitive.
